We are looking for hard-working crew. Crew members are expected to be multi-taskers. We are looking for people for the following jobs:
All crew are expected to move and set-up equipment. This includes stage equipment, mains, lighting, front of house, monitors, cameras, backline(as applicable), electrical power and cable snakes. This job requires heavy lifting of over 100 pounds. Un-assisted lifting is discouraged, we prefer 2-3 people to move heavy items. We have moving dollies, wheel bases and carts to assist in moving equipment. All crew is expected to help and assist in all set-up tasks.

Video and Camera Director(Videographer): This person will be responsible for setting multiple cameras and running the video mixing system. Experience prefered. Should be familiar with basic camera functions and operation and be a quick learner. Additional crew can also help with actual camera operation. Studio42 will own all video captured at events. Videographer will be entitled to a copy. Video Operator makes more than regular crew people.
Lighting: This is a one-person position for operation of our simple lighting console. This person will be responsible for lighting design and any scene programming. This job may also be handled by the video person.
Photography: We require an all-digital photography process. This person will be responsible for basic walk-in photos for casual events as well as casual and spontaneious shots. A requirement of most clients is the capability of a 45-60 minute turn-around from snapshot to delivery of the walk-in photos for delivery and distribution to those in the photographs, up to 1000 prints, 250-300 more average. On-Site printing capability, as well as on-site archiving and preservation is a requirement of Studio42 as Studio42 will be the owner of all photographs taken at events. Photographer will be entitled to a copy. Unlike other positions, currently, photography will require their own equipment, which will include multiple cameras, memory cards and printers, lenses, lights and tripods and monopoles as necessary. We only have two flood/fill lights for photography, which you will be allowed to use. This position does pay extra due to materials and the nature of the job.
Camera Operators: A secondary task for less skilled crew members. Keep focus, follow video operator's direction and move camera as necessary as per instructions. Maximum of 5.
Follow-Spot Operators: A Secondary task for less skilled crew members. Must be able to focus the light, keep it pointed at the specified target or targets, change colors and dimming as directed. In some cases, the lighting operator may control dimming and color changes. Maximum of 2.

Studio42 is looking for musicians of all instruments. It is easier for us to hire an already existing band, so what we are looking for is the following:
Vietnamese: We are looking for Vietnamese entertainers, both bands and vocalists, as well as others. The main purpose is for handling Vietnamese weddings. Pay is negotiated on a per event basis.
Band: Band must be able to play Vietnamese standards, American standards, take requests and accomodate guest singers.
Vietnamese Vocalists: Both male and female. Needs to be able to speak and sing in Vietnamese. English prefered as well. Must know Vietnamese standards as well as American standards.
Bands who can handle events such as casuals, weddings, and other general events. Must be capable of reading the audience and taking requests. Any styles prefered. We do find bands that can do rock, pop, dance and classic rock work the best for us.
